Sad day

So sad hearing the announcement that our Queen died this afternoon.

21st April 1926 - 8th September 2022

On Tuesday she appointed our new Prime Minister, Liz Truss.  Queen Elizabeth II really did honor her duty to her country right to the end

God Bless

  4. I mourn with the country, I have always admired the Queen for what she has done for her country and the people in her life, I look at her life with respect, that was so long, so full of events. I hope the king can achieve the same as his mother.

  5. It's so sad, isn't it. It shouldn't be really as she's lived a long life and been loved by many, but she'll be greatly missed. She devoted her life to this country to the very end.

  7. Indeed it was sad news. She was a winner in my American opinion with such a sense of duty with no whining.

  9. What a truly inspiring and amazing life Queen Elizabeth II led. I have to admit to crying about it here and I'm not even British! It's really hard to believe she's gone...
