Wordless Wednesday (not)

Greetings Peeps! thank you all so much for your well wishes for my mammogram and scan on Monday, I'm happy to report that all is well, nothing at all to be worried about, thank goodness :-) I had both scan & mammogram and the conclusion was that it was 'glandular' probably caused by hormones. The consultant recommend taking Angus Castus which can be bought from the health food shop, it's taken in liquid form, added to water and sipped throughout the day and supposedly helps to balance out the hormones. I'm giving it a go anyway to see if it will make a difference. so, big sign of relief and i feel much better in my mind this week :-)

I enrolled on another photography course in January and thought it would be nice to show off some of my photos, sort of like Wordless Wednesday, except of course this Wednesday i haven't shut up yet, ;-) I'd love to hear your comments and/or criticism on my efforts. So, if you're reading this please take time to let me know what you think.

Without further blabbering here's Wendnesday's photo

So glad your mammogram went well! I absolutely love your photo! Did you come up with that idea all on your own? Great Idea!

That is such a cool photo! Just love it. I'd love to see more that you've taken.

And that's great news about your mammogram. Those are always rather anxiety ridden experiences. I'll have to try the Angus Castus. Somedays my hormones could use some balancing!!

Hi Maggie,

Your photo is awesome!! Love the
look of the sharp edges of the
book's pages against the blurred
background. This is the perfect
image to express how we book lovers
feel about our books. Wish it could
be printed on a card because it
would look grand in my library.

Glad to hear that all went well
with your mammogram and scan. I
imagine that's an enormous relief
for you and will give you an extra
boost in spirits and help you to
feel much better. Hope the Angus Castus will help alleviate the symptoms.

Your LHN Pear Tree ornament is
so pretty!! Love the colors.
I didn't realize that there are
beads on this design.

Your start on Quaker Diamonds
looks fab too. It looks like
one heck of a big project but
will be spectacular when it's
done. Hope you enjoy every
stitch of it.

And a new start of Rubie Owl
too!! My goodness but we're
feeling ambitious this month.
Beautiful, rich, dark colors
in this one too. Yum!!!
Love the lettering style.

I read The Lovely Bones quite
a number of years ago too and
enjoyed it. Don't want to see
the movie though because, sadly,
Peter Jackson changed things
drastically and I think spoiled
the story instead of improving
it. Too bad.

It's funny, I don't know how
many times I've picked up those
books by Kate Furnivall and
dithered about buying them, and
then put them back down again.
Now you've got me convinced that
I really do NEED to get them.

The Plantagenet's are as
fascinating to read about as
the Tudor's. Trust me on this
one. You're in for a treat
when you start collecting books
on them.

Have a great weekend Maggie!!

Cheers!

So glad the health scare ended well (((((((((hugs))))))))). The agnus castus is good but I had to stop taking it, as it triggered migraines.
Fab photo - great idea! :0)
LHN finish is lovely - what about a pinkeep or flatfold finish? Love your QD & RO starts & will enjoy watching them develop. I love book bargains too - lucky you. Enjoy! :0)
