Somewhere over the rainbow

Here in the UK people everywhere have been displaying rainbows in their windows ever since this whole covid19 thing started

I believe it started by people displaying colourful pictures to cheer up passers-by, Bonnie drew me a lovely rainbow at the beginning of lock down, which is on the window in the porch but when I was out walking a few days ago I saw that one of the houses had a lovely crochet rainbow hanging in their window, so of course I had to go in search of  pattern.

I found a really easy pattern called Rainbow of Unity by Kerry Jane Designs.
But of course me being me I couldn't just make one for myself, I had to make all the kids one too :-)

This is mine hanging on the front door

I really enjoyed making them and I have used up loads of scraps of yarn that I had bagged up to send to the charity shop :-)

What started off as something to cheer up passers by has become a symbol of hope, and it's lovely that so many people are joining in.

I hope you are all keeping safe and well

See you soon

Love those rainbows. Here we have hearts in our windows. Must replace mine as it is getting slightly tattered and faded.

God bless.

That is a fun idea. Our neighborhood has had a few themes of things for the children to look for when they go for a walk. Teddy Bears was the first thing.

Oh how lovely! Living in the country here in Australia means that we don't see much of that kind of thing but I think a pretty crocheted rainbow would be sweet any time!
New reader here - thanks for sharing!

I love the rainbows, the pompoms look like clouds. We have a rainbow picture in our window, our friends daughter made it for us. Here there are also teddies in windows, so the children can follow a bear hunt.

They're fabulous, I love both the tassels and the pompoms. I enjoy seeing all the different kinds of rainbows in the windows as I go on my walks.

A GREAT SPELL CASTER (DR. EMU) THAT HELP ME BRING BACK MY EX GIRLFRIEND.
Am so happy to testify about a great spell caster that helped me when all hope was lost for me to unite with my ex-girlfriend that I love so much. I had a girlfriend that love me so much but something terrible happen to our relationship one afternoon when her friend that was always trying to get to me was trying to force me to make love to her just because she was been jealous of her friend that i was dating and on the scene my girlfriend just walk in and she thought we had something special doing together, i tried to explain things to her that her friend always do this whenever she is not with me and i always refuse her but i never told her because i did not want the both of them to be enemies to each other but she never believed me. She broke up with me and I tried times without numbers to make her believe me but she never believed me until one day i heard about the DR. EMU and I emailed him and he replied to me so kindly and helped me get back my lovely relationship that was already gone for two months.
