Merry Christmas Deer, It's Snowing!

So, the weather men predict that we are to have at least 6 inches of snow tomorrow, at the moment it's snowing but only a light covering, it's supposed to get heavier from  4am.  If it happens as they say I will be getting public transport to work tomorrow, sigh, I HATE public transport but my house is in a cul-de-sac on a hill, I've got no chance of getting my car out of the street if we have much snow, getting it back up the hill is virtually impossible.
So, my wellies are at the ready, lol.

I finished my January ornament for the SAL this week

Merry Christmas Deer
Free Design from The little Stitcher
Fabric unknown

It's only a diddy one, but I'm happy with how it turned out.

Not a lot else going on this week, I did go to the cinema last night with Joanne to see Les Miserables.   Can't say that I was that impressed, it was OK, the singing of every line can get a bit much after a while.   It may be different on the stage, I don't know, but for me It not worth all the hype.
There is one more film I would like to see next week, The Life of Pi.  I'm reading it at the moment, on my kindle, It's good and I'm interested to see how it works on film.

Until next time x

Lovely finish - I have this planned as my February ornament.
Good move to leave the car - fortunately today is a work at home day for me so I have o need to go out.

What a pretty finish! Good for you. I love the finishing that you did, too. I was interested to read what you said about Les Mis. I want to see it but I'll be honest and admit to the fact that I really don't like musicals or where the characters burst into song. I know I sound horribly uncultured but there it is! LOL

Have a great weekend!

After seeing your finish I've put this on my 'to do' list! I've had my wellies on all week although we haven't really had much snow. That's all set to change tomorrow...definitely snowman weather! :0)

So glad to hear someone not buying into the Le Mis hype. I cannot imagine why I would want to go and spend all that money to get sad and depressed. Give me a freakin' good action adventure anytime. Cute ornie!

I hope that the snow wasn't too bad. We have not had a single flake here but rain, rain and more rain.

Love the new finish! I love a vibrant red.

The snow is pretty but it is definitely a pain to drive in. Me no likey either and we get it 12 inches at a time here.

There really wasn't anything about that Les Mis movie that made me want to see it. I think it was all the preening of the actors on talk shows/media - turned me off. Do_not_care. This might be the first year when I haven't seen a SINGLE Oscar Best Movie nominee. I feel like my tolerance for movies gets shorter and shorter as I get older? lol
