Marching in

The weather was beautiful on Friday and Saturday so Mark turned over the borders.  The ground in this middle one was still quite water logged so hopefully the ground will start to dry off a bit now.

I cut everything back in this middle at the end of last Summer so it does look rather bare at the moment.

The grass is still really spongy, if March is kind it will start to dry out soon.

I cut my white rose right down last year, fingers crossed it will come back!

He made a little friend while he was out there too, aren't little robins so sweet?

On Sunday we cleaned out my little blue house and washed everything so it's spick and span again

Molly was glad to see the sunshine too :-)

I'm glad we made the most of the sunny weather because yesterday it was really dull and very cold again, not  much above 3°C all day.   We still made it out for a walk though, we met Jenny and Arty at the park and after feeding the ducks and squirrels they were able to go on the play equipment as there weren't too many kids around.  Arty loves the swings, Bonnie not so much.

I finished my second Prairie Schooler Santa for the #12in21ornamentstitchalong just got it finished on the last day of February.

This one, like my January Santa, is from the Prairie Schooler book No. 62 and I will be finishing them at a later date.

Mark is finally off furlough again, thank goodness, hopefully things will start to improve with the work situation as places plan on opening up again and I think he is glad to be doing something again.  Of course it also means that I have time in the house by myself again, I've been craving some time on my own for weeks, lol

I've got a new sewing machine that i'm off to play with now.

See you soon

Your garden is looking good, Maggie.
The children look as if they are having fun. The swings and roundabouts were my favourites as a child.
I enjoy seeing your Prairie Schooler Santas.

I see you're keeping busy Maggie. I love seeing all your craft projects. I'm just starting a Teddy Bear renovation and I've ordered some new wallpaper for my 'office' room that wil soon be seeing more crafty work. Progress feels good.

I love time alone at home, the peace is so relaxing, we have grandsons here as mummy has another hospital appointment.

Your garden and yard always look so pretty, Maggie! Amazing how many flowers are blooming there--you must be in a warmer climate than I am here. Nice to have your little house all fresh for the coming warmer months, too. Love your latest PS finish--he is one of my favorites and I think I've stitched him at least four times for gifts :)

Glad you'll have some alone time again--that is a rare thing here now that my husband has retired. Thankfully, his biking will begin again soon if things warm up! Enjoy your time with those sweet grandkids ♥

Can't wait to get back into my veg garden, Yes, I too wish to have my house to myself in the day time but I have to go another month with Dave home. I am glad it is only 3 months that he took off. Sometimes it's not good to have to much of a good thing or husband around. I love time by myself. Have a grand day.hugs Lynda

Your garden looks lovely even if things have been cut back and things are a bit bare. Soon there will be a riot of colour.

British Robins are so much cuter than our North American Robins.

God bless.

It's been wonderful having some fine weather so that we can get some outdoor jobs done so early in the year, it's a shame it's come to an end though now, rain here today and it's drab and dreary. Oooh, a new sewing machine. I look forward to seeing what you make.
