Hello March Calendar Girl

I'm really enjoying stitching these calendar girls each month, they are quite quick and with only a couple of changes in thread colour between each one I've been able to kit the ones I've done so far out of stash.

The backing fabric I've used for this one and the previous two finishes was from stash, as were the buttons.

My aim this year was to spend less, on everything in general, but on craft supplies in particular.  I've reached a stage when I want to use what I have rather than keep adding to it, there are only so many charts you can stitch in a year after all.

I've got April all ready to go, I had all the threads apart from one :-)

Have a lovely week

Cute stitch! I'm also trying to buy less this year, because like you, I have more than enough to keep me busy for the rest of my life.

Great design, lovely finish, I try to use my stash before buying but it doesn't seem to go down

So pretty. I've been thinking about my stash too but I find yarn too tempting to stop buying.

I think this little girl is so sweet, Maggie--and beautifully finished! I am doing the same as you--I realize I'm getting older and don't need so much "stuff" anymore. I've really enjoyed looking through my stash and picking older charts to stitch lately :)

March looks super in the wire holder.
Same here, only buy when necessary and use it right away. Got drawers full of stuff that I will probably never do.

You picked a gorgeous way to display your March calendar girl. I love the wire hanger.

God bless.

March is so pretty. She looks quite Irish! I have chosen a huge sampler so that will keep me from buying too much!

Wow, the calendar concept is impressive. I loved the way the work is displayed. That was a perfect border, and the display metal stand looked neat and straightforward. I'm now eagerly waiting for your next month's calendar work. The decision to spend only on essentials is a pleasing idea. Great going, Dear!!

What a cute little birdie! Did you take this picture? I like everything about your cross stitch pattern. Even the trimmings and the frame you've propped it on are perfect to the T!! I'm going to follow your idea and do a May Calendar girl.

A GREAT SPELL CASTER (DR. EMU) THAT HELP ME BRING BACK MY EX GIRLFRIEND.
Am so happy to testify about a great spell caster that helped me when all hope was lost for me to unite with my ex-girlfriend that I love so much. I had a girlfriend that love me so much but something terrible happen to our relationship one afternoon when her friend that was always trying to get to me was trying to force me to make love to her just because she was been jealous of her friend that i was dating and on the scene my girlfriend just walk in and she thought we had something special doing together, i tried to explain things to her that her friend always do this whenever she is not with me and i always refuse her but i never told her because i did not want the both of them to be enemies to each other but she never believed me. She broke up with me and I tried times without numbers to make her believe me but she never believed me until one day i heard about the DR. EMU and I emailed him and he replied to me so kindly and helped me get back my lovely relationship that was already gone for two months.
