Windsor Castle and Stonehenge

We certainly chose the best week to have time off work, the weather has been great and we have got to see the most amazing places.

We can't always count on our English weather, but you know, I don't think it's been too bad this summer.  When you get days when the sun shines and you get scenery and history like this,
what could be better?

Looks like you had a fab time. Did you see Queen Mary's dolls house at Windsor? I was fascinated by it, as we are with Stonehenge, did you make it into Somerset?

You've visited some wonderful places and really made the most of your time off. I'm glad you got the weather for it, I think it really makes a difference when the sun's shining though I'm happy just so long as it stays dry. Mick's got a week off work bank holiday week, what's the betting it rains all week.

DH and I managed to visit Stonehenge before the alterations were carried out to the roadway, a truly lovely place to sit and ponder.
Looks like you did pick a nice week off.
