Today would have been my dads 100th birthday if he were still with us.  He died in 1987 aged just 61, so long ago and yet no time at all.

Of course It's also Mother's day here in the UK on Sunday so my eldest sister and I took flowers to the crem for both of them this morning.

I don't think you ever stop missing or thinking about your mum and dad, however old you are.

I agree, mum passed 21 years ago, I miss her all the time, just her happy reassuring voice whenever needed.

No. There is always the wish to talk to them.

I agree. I lost my dad young and he is always right there in my thoughts. Mom turns 91 next week.

I weep at my mothers grave and she died when I was 2 so never knew her.

After my Dad died (he did so about 12 years after mom) I looked at Harvey and said I am now an orphan. I really miss picking up the phone and talking to them.

God bless.
